GVine Nouaison Gin 70cl

A limited edition French gin made using batch distillation in a copper pot still before flavouring. This is distilled from the Ugni Blanc grape (a favourite variety used in Cognac production) and is flavoured with a number of botanicals including grape flowers.

Nouaison means setting, the beautiful metamorphosis stage from aromatic flower to luscious berry. Capturing the poised energy of the grapes evolution.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Balanced and very herbal. Plenty of woody, grapey notes, really work well here. Rich and sweet juniper, warming.

Palate: Fruity, lots of flavour. Spices, sweet exotic spices, oranges, marmalade, floral, blossom, smooth and supple grape, good body, tangy.

Finish: Herbal, fruity, plenty of bark, zesty.
