This is a gentle, light mixer, with elderflower providing a soft sweetness and cucumber adding a palate cleansing coolness. It works on a number of levels try it with a floral gin like Pothecary or Jinzu to let the petals dominate, or try it with something fiery like Berthas Revenge to add a cooling note to the overall mix. Its also worth trying with a vermouth for a nice, light mix.
